Our 8,800-square-foot Sunset Terrace, along with the spacious Anchor Plaza, invites guests to gather, relax, and take in Erie’s famous golden-hour glow. The Bayfront Convention Center at Bayfront Landing, located on the shores of Lake Erie’s Presque Isle Bay, offers more than just breathtaking views (though we have plenty of those!) – it provides the world-class facilities, amenities, and service you need for your meeting, trade show, or event.

The Bayfront Convention Center boasts Northwest Pennsylvania’s largest banquet venue, hosting as many as 2,000 with the flexibility to take on just about any other number.

We have 120,000 square feet of event space, perfect for meetings, conferences, events, trade shows, and much, much more.

We are also attached to the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel and Courtyard Erie Bayfront, giving access to nearly 400 hotel rooms.

The Great Hall

The Bayfront Convention Center’s infrastructure includes a separate grid for utilities including compressed gas, natural gas, water, drainage and electricity. Also available are services that include box office operations, ticket-takers, ushers, police, nurses, phone operators and coat checkers.

We have northwest Pennsylvania’s largest banquet venue for 2,000, and we’re also attached to the Sheraton Erie Hotel at Bayfront Landing and Courtyard Marriott Erie Hotel at Bayfront Landing, giving access to nearly 400 hotel rooms in addition to our 120,000 square feet of event space.

But if you don’t need all that room, we’re good with that, too. Smaller, local conferences and conventions are more than welcome! When we say we have you covered, we mean it, no matter if your event is big or small!

Easy Accessibility

Erie, Pennsylvania’s location makes the Bayfront Convention Center an ideal spot for your meeting, trade show or event. The convention center has easy access to the Erie International Airport and interstates 90 and 79. Erie is a short drive from Pittsburgh, Buffalo and Cleveland and only a half-day’s drive from Detroit, Harrisburg, Pa., and Rochester, N.Y.

The Bayfront Convention Center is located at 1 Sassafras Pier, Erie, PA 16507, conveniently accessible from I-79 and I-90 via the Bayfront Parkway. Guests can enjoy ample free on-site parking just steps from the main entrance, with clear signage guiding you directly to the convention center lots. For those staying at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel or Courtyard Erie Bayfront, enclosed walkways connect both hotels to the convention center for easy access. Flying in?

Traveling to Erie is simple and stress-free. The Erie International Airport (ERI) offers several daily direct flights and easy connecting options through major hubs, all just a quick, 10-minute drive to the Bayfront. Visitors can also fly into Cleveland, Pittsburgh, or Buffalo, each offering a straightforward highway drive of under two hours to reach our beautiful waterfront location.
