Amphitheater at Liberty Park has New Sponsor: Rebich Investments
Rebich Investments Amphitheater is the new sponsor of the amphitheater at Liberty Park.
Julie Slomski, executive director of the Erie-Western Pennsylvania Port Authority, told the Times-News that after a unanimous vote on Wednesday, they have entered a new three-year partnership for the naming rights of the amphitheater, previously named Highmark Amphitheater, at $45,000 a year.
“We thank Highmark for the long-time relationship,” Slomski said. “The agreement had expired and Highmark had chosen to go in another direction.”
While talking with Erie Events, which now oversees the popular amphitheater event 8 Great Tuesdays, Rebich Investments was highly recommended.
"After some discussion it was apparent that Rebich Investments would make an engaged partner for Liberty Park as the naming rights sponsor," Gus Pine, executive director of Erie Events, said. "Julie Slomski with the Port Authority has done a great job in bringing this agreement to conclusion and it really shows what collaboration can do for our community."
